The Idaho Falls Police Department will appear on the live television documentary series On Patrol: Live, beginning Friday, October 9. The announcement regarding the Eastern Idaho visit was made Monday via social media.
Hosted and executive produced by Dan Abrams, the program features cameras riding along with law enforcement officers as they respond to real-time calls for service. There is no script involved in the broadcasts.
“We are proud of the work our officers do in Idaho Falls,” said Bryce Johnson, Chief of Police for Idaho Falls.
The series airs on the REELZ network. Episodes broadcast live on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time, which corresponds to 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
The show typically features police departments and sheriff’s offices across the United States. This appearance marks another jurisdiction joining the cast for unscripted coverage of daily policing duties.
