Idaho Falls music fans have a major concert to mark on their calendars this autumn, as Nashville-based rapper Yelawolf and multi-Grammy-nominated rock band Highly Suspect are set to co-headline a tour stop at the Mountain America Center on Sunday, October 11.

The event is part of The War Within Tour, with opening support provided by Passengers Unknown. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.com.

About the Headliners

Yelawolf has built one of the more distinctive careers in modern hip-hop. The Nashville-based artist and entrepreneur — best known as the founder of the Slumerican brand — broke through with his album Radioactive and later saw his record Love Story debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, earning gold certification. Among his most recognized tracks are the platinum singles “Till It’s Gone,” “Best Friend” featuring Eminem, and “You and Me.” He has also collaborated with high-profile artists on extended projects, including The Slumdon Bridge EP with Ed Sheeran and Psycho White with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. His catalog further includes the albums Trial By Fire and Ghetto Cowboy.

Highly Suspect brings a rock-heavy counterbalance to the bill. The gold-certified band cultivates a devoted following — known collectively as “MCID,” short for My Crew Is Dope — and has racked up multiple Grammy nominations over the course of their career. Their 2015 debut, Mister Asylum, earned a Grammy nod for Best Rock Album, and the single “Lydia” from that record received a Best Rock Song nomination and achieved gold certification from the RIAA.

The band’s 2016 follow-up, The Boy Who Died Wolf, produced the single “My Name Is Human,” which climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and earned yet another Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song — the group’s third such nod overall.

What Comes Next
