IFDDC Schedules Crawl-O-Ween at Former Farrell’s Building

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — The Idaho Falls Downtown Development Corporation will hold its annual Crawl-O-Ween event Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at the former Farrell’s building at 417 W. Broadway.

Check-in opens at 5 p.m. Building tours are scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m., providing what organizers described as the final opportunity to visit the building before its transformation. The District Crawl will follow from 7 to 10 p.m.

Kerry Hammond said the gathering marks “a historic moment” for the former Farrell’s building while offering a Halloween event in downtown Idaho Falls.

A zombie-themed Spook Alley will operate from 6 to 10 p.m. at 447 Park Ave., next to MarCellar’s. Youth and adult costume contests are planned at Park Avenue and B Street, with prize packages valued at $100.

Crawl Passes will be available for adults and youth. Organizers also plan to provide historic photographs and stories about downtown Idaho Falls, along with light refreshments.

IFDDC is hosting the event with the Project Management Institute. Matthew Alonzo said the PMI Eastern Idaho Chapter is helping organize the event.

IFDDC said all ticket proceeds will be directed to local downtown initiatives.
