The fundraiser takes place on Saturday, Sept. 12, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants can receive dry haircuts for $20. These services do not include washing or styling, allowing stylists to serve more clients in a shorter timeframe. No appointments are required; the salon is accepting walk-ins throughout the day.
All proceeds from the event—including haircut fees, tips, raffle ticket sales, and direct donations—will go toward supporting the Community Food Basket. Organizers noted that giving back to the community where they live and work is a priority for the business.
To encourage attendance, the salon will offer food, treats, and discounted products. Local businesses have contributed prizes for raffles, including an autographed guitar donated by Vixen through the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel.
