A 34-year-old woman from Rexburg, driving a 2020 GMC Acadia SUV, slowed her vehicle as she approached the first accident. Her SUV was struck from behind by a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 68-year-old Idaho Falls woman.
All three drivers involved in the chain-reaction crash were wearing seat belts at the time of the incidents. Authorities have not released the names of those involved, but confirmed that the Idaho Falls resident sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
